About the event
Zippered Pouches serve many purposes, from small change purse, to pencil pouch to larger toiletry bag. Learn how easy it is to make one yourself! In this class you'll learn the basic skills of sewing a zippered pouch: how to measure and cut the fabric, use fusible interfacing, top-stitch, insert a zipper, and make a squared off bottom. All materials for the class will be provided, but feel free to bring along any fabric of your own that you would like to use.
Prerequisites: This class is perfect for all levels of sewing abilities. Completing the 2.5-hour class Sewing Machine Basics is recommended for those who are new to sewing.
Class dates: Saturday, January 17th, 1pm - 3:30pm.
Location: 506 Main Street Suite 18 Westbrook Maine. Free parking available on-site. Accessible entrance and restrooms.
Supplies Needed: Bring your working sewing machine, including manual and presser feet, or borrow one from the shop.…
