Class Cancellation Policy
Before registering for a class or workshop, please read the following policies.
Our classes and workshops are held in small groups and it can be very difficult to fill a cancelled spot on short notice. In order to ensure we can continue offering small group sewing workshops, the following cancellation policy applies to all workshop purchases.
We understand people get sick, child care cancels, and other emergencies come up. We ask that you please read this policy before booking a workshop, and understand that we must adhere to it. Please be understanding of our limitations as a small, independently run business, and don't ask us to make an exception to our policy.
If you can provide at least 2 weeks notice:
A refund of the full amount less 5% to cover transaction costs will be issued to you via your original payment method.
If you can provide over 48 hours notice:
If you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over 48 hours' notice, you will receive a digital store credit that can be used for a future workshop or to shop in person. Store credits never expire, and will be issued to the email used to book the class.
To cancel, contact us.
If you cancel within 48 hours of the start time:
It is very difficult for us to fill workshop spots on short notice. If you cancel within 48 hours or do not show for the workshop, you are not eligible for a store credit.
If you are able to find someone to take your place in the workshop, contact us and we can try to arrange that they take your place.
To cancel, contact us.
Arriving Late
If you arrive one half hour (30 minutes) or more after the scheduled workshop time, that will be considered a no-show, and you will not be able to join the workshop, receive a store credit, or a refund.
Multi-Day Workshops
Partial refunds are not available if you can't finish your workshop. If you can't attend the remaining workshop dates, contact us and we can arrange for you to finish the project during an Open Studio session or take it home.
Agreeing to this Policy
