About the event
Learn visible mending techniques and tricks to transform worn and ripped pants. No matter where the rip (crotch, knee, pocket), we can find a way to make your jeans or work pants durable and beautiful. We will supply denim and canvas for patches, thread, needles, etc but feel free to bring along materials you'd like to use. We will be using only hand sewing techniques during this class.
Prerequisites: No experience required, but some experience with hand sewing is helpful.
Class date: Saturday, May 30th from 1pm to 3pm
Location: 506 Main Street Unit 18 Westbrook Maine. Free parking available on-site. Accessible entrance and restrooms.
Cost: $45 per person. Scholarships are available; apply here.
Supplies Needed: Bring 1 or 2 pairs of damaged jeans or work wear pants. All other materials will be provided.
