Intro to Knitting with Chloe Minagawa

Together, we will knit an ear warmer/headband with several variations available. This project allows for experimentation with different stitches, will support you in learning basic fitting knowledge, and is a gender neutral and easily wearable piece. We will go over how to select materials for your project, how to cast on, knit, purl, cast off, and how to finish an item. We will also go over how to fix basic mistakes to get you knitting confidently. This class is taught with the continental knitting style.

Prerequisites: Suitable for complete beginners or those with very little knitting experience.

Class dates: Mondays from 6pm to 8pm. June 2nd, 9th, + 16th. Six hours total.

Location: 506 Main Street Suite 18 Westbrook Maine. Free parking available on-site. Accessible entrance and restrooms.

Supplies Needed: All supplies will be provided for this class. You will have a selection of materials to choose from.
