About the event
Learn the time honored tradition of making vintage style, hand embroidered postcards! This class will teach you how to create your own (Halloween themed?) postcard using some basic hand embroidery and sewing stitches. Make a fun postcard sized embroidery and maybe meet a few new friends! Taught by Tree Heckler (Roadtrashcritters) who has 30 years of embroidery teaching experience.
Prerequisites: No experience required, but some experience with hand sewing is helpful.
Class date: Saturday, October 18th from 1pm to 4pm
Location: 506 Main Street Unit 18 Westbrook Maine. Free parking available on-site. Accessible entrance and restrooms.
Supplies Needed: Most materials will be provided for this class. Bring any buttons, beads, or sequins you wish to use.
Age requirement: This class is suitable for ages 14 and up.
